Alec E. Ohryn

Alec Ohryn grew up in Oakland County and went to high school in Walled Lake. He majored in history at Oakland University before earning his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in Auburn Hills, Michigan. While in law school, Alec worked as a student attorney helping indigent clients through their family law matters for the Family Law Assistant Program.

Alec began his legal career working at a busy personal injury law firm in Southfield. He started as a law clerk and ultimately was hired as an associate attorney managing his own case load. As an attorney, Alec has exclusively represented persons who have been injured. In his free time, Alec enjoys volunteering to help pro se individuals expunge criminal convictions from their records.

Away from the office, you will likely find Alec spending time with his family, which includes his son, exploring outdoor activities that Michigan has to offer. Besides fishing in the countless lakes throughout southeast Michigan or visiting an apple orchard in the fall, Alec enjoys going to the movies. As a point of habit, he attempts to watch each of the Academy Award nominated best pictures annually.

Alec is excited to join the Fieger Law team as an associate attorney representing individuals throughout their time of need. While at the firm, Alec is excited to learn what is means to be a trial attorney.
