Helen K. Joyner
Joyner was appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court to its Committee on Model Civil Jury Instructions in 2005, where she is responsible for drafting all of the instructions read to juries in every civil jury trial across the state.
Joyner is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has received a Martindale-Hubbell AV Peer Review Rating, which reflects the confidential opinions of the bar and judiciary that she has the highest level of legal ability and professional ethics. She is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Michigan Chapter of the American Constitution Society.
Joyner was voted to the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Michigan as published in the Detroit News Super Lawyer Section; she continues to be listed in the Michigan Super Lawyer Edition.
Joyner is also a certified SCUBA diver and certified sailor.
