Raquel Muñoz
Attorney
Raquel Muñoz grew up in Prosser, Wash., and served eight years with the U.S. Army Reserves and the Hawaii Army National Guard, deploying twice for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in political science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Raquel graduated Cum Laude with honors from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich., where she served as associate editor of the school’s Journal of Practical and Clinical Law, as a Mock Trial Member, and subsequently, as a fellow at the Cooley Immigration Rights & Civil Advocacy Clinic.
After working briefly as an associate attorney in private practice focused on immigration law, Raquel went on to serve as a state public defender in New Mexico for two years; and a federal public defender in South Texas for three years. She joined Fieger Law in November, 2019 bringing extensive courtroom experience and a passion for advocacy.
In her free time, Raquel enjoys playing poker, and is an avid NFL enthusiast. Go Cowboys!
